Our Story
For five decades, we've been bringing photographers together to learn, grow, and celebrate the art of photography in Sonoma County.
Our Mission
To foster a welcoming community where photographers of all skill levels can develop their craft, share their vision, and inspire one another through the art of photography.
Education
Workshops, critiques, and educational programs
Community
Supportive environment for building friendships
Excellence
Competitions and exhibitions to inspire growth
The Santa Rosa Photo Club was founded in 1985 by a small group of photography enthusiasts who wanted to share their passion and learn from each other. Over the decades, we've grown into one of the most active photography communities in Sonoma County.
Our Mission
We are dedicated to fostering creativity, education, and camaraderie among photographers of all skill levels. Through monthly meetings, workshops, photo walks, and exhibitions, we provide opportunities for members to grow their skills and share their vision.
What We Offer
Monthly meetings feature guest speakers, member presentations, and image critiques. We organize regular photo walks to explore the natural beauty of Sonoma County and beyond. Our annual exhibition at the Santa Rosa Arts Center showcases the best work from our members.
Whether you shoot landscapes, portraits, street photography, macro, or anything in between — you'll find kindred spirits here. All camera types are welcome, from smartphones to medium format.
